Week 5: Room Models

Image
Paper Model The paper was easy to cut, glue, fold and crease, making the process of modelling my room alot faster. The downside of using paper was that the model was quite delicate and flimsy. Cardboard Model The cardboard was rigid and sturdy, which made it hard to fold and crease. This model ended up quite rough and unrefined, but it was sturdy. Detailed Model I decided to add an elevated section and a semi-covered balcony to the model of my room. The material I used was a thin cardboard with a paper like finish. This material was relatively sturdy and easy to work with. The scale of this model is 1:20 due to lack of material.
